Due to significant expansion, Wellspace Australia are currently looking for passionate and experienced team members to join our team as an Independent Subcontractor. We are looking for multiple Independent Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches to work remotely across all of Australia.
As a Subcontractor, you will manage your schedule to work the hours and days that suit your life. Have the flexibility to work from anywhere. Choose and control your caseload without the pressure of KPI's.
Be supported by a national industry-leading disability organisation with subject matter experts as your peers and managers passionate about developing you as an Independent Subcontractor whilst ensuring our participants are provided with quality support to achieve their goals.

Essential Criteria
-
Your own ABN and Insurances (or willing to obtain)
-
Support Coordinator: Minimum 6 months experience working with people with disabilities in a Support Coordination, Local area Coordination or NDIS planning role.
-
Specialist Support Coordinator: Bachelor degree in a health related discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or other Allied Health)
-
Psychosocial Recovery Coach: Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent training; or a minimum of two years’ lived or learned experience in mental health related work

Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS (or working toward) including interpreting and implementing all aspects of NDIS plans

Valid Driver’s licence and comprehensively insured motor vehicle

Hold a current Working with Children Check

NDIS worker screening check

This permanent role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Manage a caseload of participants.
-
Manage other team members caseloads during times of planned or unexpected leave.

Assist management with participant handovers, reallocations and other support, as directed by management.

Assist participants pro-bono to access the scheme or during periods of no funding, as management requires.
